Summary
What do you get when you cross a prosecutor who overthinks things too much, a second prosecutor who overthinks things too much, and a hawk who thinks very little because he is, in fact, a hawk?
Besides the set up to the world's most complicated joke, you somehow manage to get a friendship between two people who started off not liking each other. And then you get a friendship with feelings that might have been handled a bit differently if they weren't feelings held by two people who are reckless overthinkers.
Oh, and the hawk. You still get the hawk. That hasn't changed.5+1 fic for the prompt "Firsts", starting just after Turnabout Storyteller but mainly post-SOJ.
