For he’s never lit a candle and prayed proper, you see, but he thinks the crackle and cherry glow of a pipe under Gale’s fluttering eyes is as good an altar as any. And as he breathes in, Astarion mirrors him. The smell would be overpowering were it not for the wafting sweet panic in Gale’s blood as he chokes himself out so… willingly.
Or: Astarion can’t get high, but that insufferable wizard can. And watching can be just as fun.

“Perhaps not specifically. You see, the problem about writing on drow society is one often does not make it up from the Underdark to hand pages to publisher. Of course there are many…less researched volumes. Of hapless men and leather-clad matrons. But I told Shadowheart I would be a gentleman, so that is all I will say on the more sordid parts of my education. You’ve nothing to fear.”

With every drag of a worn out cigarette, he found himself indulging in “what-ifs.” Maybe it’s why he smoked so damn much.
Wolfwood hated how vulnerable “what-ifs” made him–-they always took up the majority of his attention.

Trigun Maximum Wolfwood sucks and fucks Trigun Stampede Wolfwood. There's a decent amount of plot to justify it happening. Stampede Wolfwood feels some type of way about all this. That's it, that's the fic.
