Summary
Alice was a girl with amnesia thrown into Rigbarth’s problems the moment she stepped foot into town; not that she minded. She was the type of person to reach out a helping hand whether explicitly asked or not. Often called reckless and self-sacrificing, she became a valued member of Rigbarth’s community seemingly overnight. The “ace ranger” everyone looked up to was buckling under the expectations.
Cecil was well, Cecil. One of the many villagers in Rigbarth, but he was possibly Alice’s greatest admirer. He was trusting to a fault, naïve, and too nice for his own good. Naturally, the two got along quickly, but Alice’s own feelings seemed to be getting in the way of her job.
*The plot follows the game (sorta) but it's more Cecil-focused. I included actual game and town events but also I added my own little original parts. I hope you like it.*

Summary
Alice and Cecil have just completed their first “case” together as co-detectives. Even though it ended up being a wild goose chase thanks to Captain Livia, they still wanted to celebrate. After sharing a bottle of wine and laughing over the irony of them both having such a low tolerance, they got caught in the beginnings of a storm. Taking shelter at The Blue Moon Inn, Murakumo offers up a room for the two to wait out the oncoming typhoon.
What happens when two friends who've been crushing on each other all Spring get drinks and end up in a room with only one bed?
*An alternate route for Chapter 7 of my fluff fanfic. It can probably be read as a stand alone, just know that they're pinning idiots. It's definitely a very slow build for a very tame scene by most standards.*
