“What happened?” James asked, sitting down beside him. He wanted to kill Sirius’ parents, whatever they did he wanted to kill him.
“Wanted me to get the dark mark, since I’m sixteen an’ all,”

Summary
James Potter goes to a masquerade ball to help out his best friend, who is longing to find out what has happened to his brother. But instead of sticking to the plan, he accidentally falls in love with Regulus Black, the very man he was meant to be observing from a distance.
Regulus Black only has a couple months left before he will be married off to a man he hates.
