“What is it?” she said “What’s wrong?”
“Go and get changed,” he said softly “There’s been an accident. Your Mom has been taken to Georgetown Memorial. I’ve just spoken to Bill, he’s on his way.”
“Oh my god!” she stood knocking her coffee over in her haste “Shit,” she grabbed a wad of paper towels and started trying to clean up “What happened?”
He stilled her hands, placing both of his over hers “Look at me please” he said gently, his tone reassuring. She didn’t want to, she knew one look at him and she’d crumble but she did it anyway. His eyes were soft and reassuring brimming with concern.

Ex Tenebris Lux [Latin]
Out of Darkness, LightListen, I feel the same way a lot of us do about the events of ‘My Struggle IV’ but they happened and so here we are. I couldn’t bear to leave Mulder and Scully in such a dark and depressing place, so I wanted to bring them back into the light.
Enjoy these three little light-themed vignettes as our parents-to-be reflect on the life they have lived and get ready to step into the next chapter of their story.

Summary
Before Arrakis, there was Caladan. Before there was love, they were strangers. Jessica and Leto are brought together by agendas that aren't entirely their own-- Jessica must bear a female child by an Atreides to wed a Harkonnen, to bring forth the Kwisatz Haderach, and Leto must produce a male heir for House Atreides. A powerful Bene Gesserit, once on Caladan, Jessica begins to suspect she may already have the keys necessary to bring forth the Kwisatz Haderach. Leto must produce an heir, but is also expected to take a wife for political advantage. Love will guide their decisions, and lead them down the path of bringing forth the Kwisatz Haderach.
