The hallway lights on the 2nd floor dim the ran-down motel. Almost darker than ever, he could still taste the bitter flavor of everything he swallowed hours ago. Eddie leaned against wall outside of the dented door. He booked a room under a fake ID he got back in Indy whenever he wanted to hide. The thought of knocking on the door in front of him rushed through his mind like a zap, but he couldn’t just get his body to move. He sat staring at the door what almost felt like years. Stuck.
