    Ao’nung's hand covers his. Their fingers, like it's only one proper way for them to be, slip between all each other’s free spaces.

    ‘’Then it could be, I guess.’’ he says, ‘’Something real.’’

     Ao'nung is searching for solace. Neteyam is searching for himself.

    Neteyam died. He remembered the feeling. But now he found himself back on Pandora. Back with his family. But this time, something was different. He felt different. He felt...new. The old Neteyam was gone, and he wasn't sure about this new Neteyam. This darker Neteyam. With his return to life came a newfound sense of hunger. One that could only be satiated by one thing. Blood and Flesh. In the midst of this, the RDA is planning its revenge on the natives of Pandora. On top of that, he had entered this weird rivalry with the son of the Metkayinan chieftain Aonung, whose blood smells the absolute best, and a personality that drives him crazy. How will Neteyam navigate his second chance at life?

    Or Neteyam is brought back to life, but as a Vampire who needs to feast on blood and flesh to survive, and the RDA hasn't given up on conquering Pandora. But there is another threat bigger than both of them. One that threatens all of Pandora.

    This story takes place directly after the second movie and will loosely follow the third movie and tie in events from other media later down the line. But it will be an entirely original story. [Fic is under heavy rewrites]

    "Son," Jake tried again, his voice a whisper as he ignored the jeering of Quaritch beside him and the frenzy of the Mangkwan. The only thing that mattered to him was his son. "Please, you have to remember. It's me, Jake, your dad. And those are your brother's, Lo'ak and Spider, and your sisters, Kiri and Tuk."

    Neteyam's hand momentarily stilled, putting a stop to the sacrificial markings he had been painting across Jake's skin. The conflict on his face was impossible to hide, physically paining Jake when he couldn't reach out to embrace his son and tell him that everything would be okay.

    "I don't--"

    "Bro," Lo'ak cut him off, pleading as he fought against his restraints. "We have to get out of here, it's not safe. We can explain everything to you once we get back."

    "No," he quickly hissed, shooting down anyone else who dared to speak against him. Before handing off the wooden bowl of paint and storming away, Neteyam seethed, "I am the son of Varang, and my place is with the Mangkwan. I don't know who any of you are."

    or... Neteyam couldn't remember anything except his name and the voices of his past. Luckily, he had Varang and the Mangkwan to guide him through it.

    When he saw him for the first time, he was not as intimidating as his brother described him, (he could say that he even thought he was cute) he was something and he looked muscular but not enough to be an "Alpha" perhaps a problematic "Beta" who was looking for some fame as a gang member.
    He received a punch in the face from that criminal, he had a lot of strength for a Beta, it was then that a sweet aroma abounded throughout the place, they quickly covered their noses, there was clearly an Omega nearby.

    - Is there an Omega hiding around here? -.

    - I'm the one who's in heat -.

    - Are you an Omega?!
