Summary
Living in the outskirts of the city run by vampires for the whole of his life, Choi Yeonjun has managed to evade their attention thus far. That is, until the night of The Hunt comes and he finds himself getting entangled with one of the most powerful vampires, Choi Beomgyu.

“Will it hurt?” Yeonjun asks shakily as he looks directly into the vampire’s crimson red eyes, no longer caring about whatever potential compulsion that may happen to him.
“I can make it pleasurable for you,” the vampire murmurs softly into his ear.
Yeonjun shivers. He has never had his blood sucked by a vampire before. He has only heard of the painful stories of those who did. He has no idea how this could be pleasurable at all.
“Can you make it quick?” Yeonjun requests pleadingly.
Unexpectedly, the vampire laughs. It is not the sinister kind of laugh. Instead, it sounds… genuine. Like what Yeonjun said was funny. Like this is a hilarious situation when it is far from it.
“Yeonjun,” the vampire utters in a pitying tone. “You seem to think that you have a choice.”

When all your life has been decided for you since the very moment you were born both Yeonjun and Beomgyu try to navigate what is given to them in the smoothest way possible.
But sometimes, most of the times really, it doesn't matter what they want or what they need, it's what duty calls of them so when Beomgyu is walking down the aisle with his father holding his hand and his eyes sting with unreleased tears behind his veil, he wished he was just another normal omega walking this earth, the price of being a prince chosen by the Gods is too high when Yeonjun is looking at him from the side, someone completely different waiting for him down the path duty had put him through.

Summary
Yeonjun thought that he was in love with Beomgyu, once. Back in college. So naive. Now he's almost thirty, and he knows that love comes with pain and sacrifice. That's why his wife has left and won't tell him when she's coming home, that's why his daughter who adores him accidentally destroys everything she touches.
Love is more raw and real and emotional than anything that Yeonjun ever felt with Beomgyu. He still misses him, though. Life was simple back then.
(Life becomes a smidge more complicated when the idea of divorce appears on the horizon, and when Yeonjun meets his daughter's brand-new preschool teacher, who has a very different outlook on what happened between them seven years ago.)

Summary
Choi Yeonjun is a vampire hunter-born to an old and distinguished Clan, well-regarded by virtue of the preternaturally talented hunters they’d produced over the centuries. Though allowed to bear the clan’s name, his father was disowned by the clan. And the clan itself regarded Yeonjun as a dishonored son.
A chance encounter which Choi Beomgyu, heir to the Yeon Choi Clan, flips Yeonjun’s reality so fast that he’s neck deep in clan business—politics, violence, and manipulation.
When the Clan Heads of the Yeon Choi ask him to formally protect Beomgyu, he can't say no-even if it will draw his clan's attention and ire.
There’s just something intoxicating about the vampire-literally. He can’t get enough of Beomgyu's scent, and the vampire can't get enough of his. But Beomgyu insists that he's never scented anything like Yeonjun before. And that shouldn’t be possible, Yeonjun is only human….He shouldn't be able to daze a vampire with his scent, but Beomgyu is falling hard, as hard as Yeonjun is. And it's creating something...some link through the blood.

This wasn’t the mailman.
Beomgyu lowered his hand from his face. He blinked as his vision settled in the glaring sun’s rays.
“Warm welcome, for sure,” the boy said. “Your mom, I’m guessing, wasn’t lying.”
In which Choi Yeonjun is the new hired farmhand for Beomgyu and his mom's family farm for the summer, but both the long days and overwhelming heat don't help in keeping their relationship strictly professional as their time together stretches on.
