EDIT: De-anon'd because I'm done being a chicken. This is my first fic in this fandom, though I am an AVID reader.
Yet another Pirate AU featuring the cast of ATEEZ and Stray Kids. This one is ATEEZ-centric. The Destiny is attacked and Hongjoong's crew is taken by slavers. Bang Chan and his crew (and a few others along the way) help Hongjoong get his crew back.
I did not tag Major Character Death because there isn't any. Don't get mad at me in the comments. Just because it SEEMS like someone is dead doesn't mean they are actually dead. It just means the author is going to use it to shamelessly torture the characters for almost the entire fic. Because it's me, and if you've read my other works, you have come to expect that of me at this point.

With the grace of a raccoon rummaging through the trash in the early hours of the morning, he snags a chocolate bar and—Minho swears to god—coughs dramatically as he shoves it into his pocket.
Minho loses it.
He claps a hand over his mouth, shoulders shaking as he watches him fumble his way through the worst attempt at theft he’s ever seen. If the place had actual security, he would’ve been caught five minutes ago.
Still laughing under his breath, Minho pushes himself up from his chair and heads toward the back of the store. He has to see this guy’s face when he gets caught. He finds him by the refrigerators, the harsh lighting making his face look pale.
Minho steps in front of him, cutting off his path.
The guy blinks up at him, startled. “…Uh, hey?”
Minho crosses his arms, tilting his head slightly. “So, were you planning on paying for that chocolate, or should I start drafting your prison memoir?”
