Tommy was glad to see that Smiley completely buffered at that statement. His hands froze in the air, his masked face whipped towards Tommy, and his jaw hung open in disbelief. “Excuse me?!”
“You are now honored to travel with the great Tommyinnit and bring me back home.”
“Wait, no. That’s not-”
“Seeing as it’s your fault I’m stuck here anyway.”
“No it’s not!”
“But I’m willing to forgive you and allow you to pay back your misdeed by bringing me back home.”
Tommy opened his eyes, pleased to see that Smiley still looked just as confused as before. Good, he liked leaving his foes confused. People should never know what to expect from Tommyinnit.

Tommy got separated from his family while on a supply run. Determined to get back home, he had to enlist the help of a random (and maybe crazy) stranger in order to ensure his survival. Who else could do it? Not Tubbo. Not any other person out there. Tommy seeks approval, even if he will not admit outright, and the only one who can give that needed approval is the same man who refuses to look at the boy unless forced to.
Technoblade sighs, long and nearly tired. “He is cared about. He’s loved by countless others, is that not enough?”
“Do you fear the boy, your grace?” Tubbo blinks innocently, his tone serene underneath the king's stare.
“Excuse me?”
(Or, Tommy struggles to settle into his new life, then makes a friend. Tubbo would probably die for him.)

He didn't know how long he hobbled for, mind and body at complete war—with his body desperately wanting to collapse but his mind clinging on to fragile life—until finally, finally the steady twigs and rocks and patches of moss broke away to reveal a large clearing...yellow...as far as the eye could see...some green a little ways off but right there infront of him was...a dizzying about of yellow.
A whole sea of it...that didn't make sense...Grian paused, half in awe and half in confusion before frowning as the yellow began to sway and swirl...and...oh...
Oh.
Grian barely registered his knees hitting the ground, only the agony that ricochet through his entire body at the fall—but agony...this sort of agony...faded just as quickly.
And so did his vision.
Then everything felt...weightless.

Summary
Erimos is a desert whose sands are prowled by demons at night and by bandits at day. Grian is the only one left of his gang after a job goes awry, leaving him to lay low and drown his sorrows for the rest of his days. That is, until a silver-tongued stranger walks into his local saloon and boldly takes a seat next to him.
This man, Scar, turns out to be an outlaw from a rival gang, making Grian despise him immediately. But, he’s looking for the same thing Grian was when his crew got taken down. And he doesn’t exactly give the bandit a choice in joining the search. With the help of Scar’s gang and a handful of the most diverse, and dangerous, characters Erimos has to offer, Grian might just be able to do what he vowed to those years ago.
And maybe find a little something for himself along the way.
