    Mirkwood's soil had not recovered as much as the Elves had hoped and crops are not grown in the same abundance as before. The Hobbits have knowledge about the earth which the Elves do not and Thranduil calls on the Shire for aid, promising to send guards to protect the Shire from any who would wish the land harm.

    To seal this alliance, he offered his only son Legolas to the one Bilbo Baggins calls his heir, Frodo. Except, nobody told Frodo and he's in love...with Kili, Prince of Erebor.

    Perhaps there is a way around this...predicament...

    Summary

    All of the dwarves survive the Battle of the Five Armies and Bilbo comes back to the Lonely Mountain with a recently orphaned Frodo one year later. He and Thorin eventually marry, Bilbo becomes Consort Under the Mountain, and the Kingdom of Erebor slowly returns to its former glory under their leadership. Meanwhile, they've also got three nephews to contend with and a Company of dwarves who can't seem to keep their noses out of everybody else's business. Political intrigue, royal headaches, cabbage patches, and hilarity ensues...
