The wind howled, the temperature dropped, and the day grew dim.
Flashy Flash became increasingly worried. How might Manako fare under these conditions? In spite of his occupation, he knew very little about monster biology. Were they warm-blooded, like humans—capable of maintaining homeostasis, to a point? Or were they more like reptiles—cold-blooded and adaptable?
Manako didn't seem cold-blooded in any sense. Perhaps that's why Flash hated to think of her all alone in the wilderness. Helpless, above ground, far away from the only home she'd ever known…
Flash shivered against the cold, and the snow fell like stars all around him.

To deal with this sudden influx of phone calls, HA executives had rolled out a special holiday initiative: “Santa's Annual Navigation Tracking and Heroic Elf Response Operation” (also known as the “Santa Hero Hotline,” for short).

Gojo and Sukuna are rival mob bosses, each channeling illicit income through their own little ‘flower shop.’ Itadori just needs a job, but he’s getting much more than that—mostly trouble. Can he set things right before it's too late?

“So, Itadori-kun,” Gojo continued. “Do you remember the plan for today?"
“Arrive at exactly 8am. Ask to speak to Sukuna. Don’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Explain that I am 'a resource-oriented and dedicated individual willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, no questions asked. If hired, I will serve you loyally but also quietly. I also have a flexible schedule and am available for overtime, including evenings and weekends. I am able to lift fifty pounds easily and without assistance, I can withstand both exceedingly hot and cold conditions and work for very long periods of time without breaks. I do not faint at the sight of blood and I am comfortable being confined in small spaces.’”
“And?” Gojo raised a brow.

The door swings open and Garou stands before him, grinning, like he’s just won some fucked-up game of Hide-and-Seek—rapacious, like a shark or a bloodhound; some predatory creature enraptured by open wounds.
“What’s with that face, huh?” Garou wrinkles his nose. “Are you crying?”
Garou approaches, curious-er and curious-er, prolifically surprised; as if he’s forgotten how tears work, that crying is an actual thing humans can do.
Charanko would rather die than be seen like this—especially by someone like Garou, epitome of strength of all sorts—but if Charanko could manage to calm himself down, he would not have skipped class to cry in the pantry.
An idea suddenly comes to him. It’s the only thought he has.
Crying is basically hiccups, Charanko reasons. It will stop if I hold my breath.
Garou’s eyes widen with a minuscule inkling of concern. Charanko catches this even through his darkening vision, and it’s the last thing he sees before his legs give out.
He pitches forward, and all the world goes black.Summary: Charanko notices some troubling changes in his classmate.

“A mask will attract too much attention,” King replied. “Masks are suspicious. Everyone will want to guess your identity. Eventually, someone will guess right. But if you just go as some guy who just looks like the Hero Hunter, everyone will shrug it off as a weird coincidence and move on.”
“You’re just some guy, with weird hair, who calls himself Garou ironically,” Saitama added. “For that to work, you have to go exactly as yourself or not at all. No masks, no haircuts, and no costumes.”
