Papyrus shrugged it off, knowing Sans was probably at Grillby's, eating that disgusting, greasy food again. He was probably safe, drinking ketchup, telling puns and stories...

When he opened his eyes again, he was holding a torch that revealed wooden walls around him and the rest of the Achaean army.
Great. He was back here again.
Well, if the fates were going to fuck up his life, he was going to fuck around and find out.
Or: Odysseus gets sent back in time to relive the events of his odyssey, and he'll be damned if he doesn't use his experience to change the course of his journey. But he is also so, so done.
NOTE: (I know this fic is like, extremely short rn so this isn't a big announcement or whatever, but if I don't put this here I'm gonna keep beating myself up)

They both had hoped their dust would mix during those final moments, making sure neither would be lonely throughout their possible afterlife.
So, to say that something big had to have happened for them to be mad at each other would be an understatement of the underground.
