There was a sharp silence that pronounced the sound of tearing velcro and the echoing click of the weapon that he used to rid the streets of despair. He pressed the metal to the man’s lips, the taste of dirt and gunpowder and something no longer alive coating the tip of his tongue. It was dizzying. Something Komaeda used to take out those who brought hopelessness, the barrel was now pointed at the complete opposite.
But the way Hinata’s eyes widened with a dark glint behind those pupils, he didn’t think the same. He was thrilled.

Komaeda and Kamukura have a self-serving and transactional relationship. They're here to use each other, it's entirely mutual and they both understand that. And yet they're so captivated, they don't know what they'd do when they stop being useful to each other. Walking for far too long, Komaeda is insistent that they take a break and is desperate for Kamukura's attention, who has been ignoring him the whole day. The only suitable resting place Kamukura can find happens to be an old car, and he knows how to get Komaeda in it.
Or; Komaeda and Kamukura have weird sex in a cadillac, and Komaeda has many complaints about the car.

Hajime hates Nagito. At least, he says so, but it’s not really true. He knows it’s stupid, but he keeps trying to hold out hope that they can be friends someday.
But Hajime doesn’t have time to think about Nagito, because he’s at a party with his friends and he’s just seen the prettiest girl he’s ever laid eyes on.
Only that’s not a girl, that’s Nagito, and Hajime just hit on him. He's so fucked.
Alternatively: Hajime thinks that Nagito's pretty in his dress, but he also thinks he'd look even better without it. Besides, Hajime's tired of being pushed around by Nagito, so when it becomes clear he's even more desperate to take it off than Hajime is, he's very eager to feel in control of their strange relationship for once. Nagito won't admit it, but he's all too willing to let him.

(Komaeda tries to convince himself that Hinata Hajime is worthless and despicable and not even remotely worth his time.
