Dennis watches Andrew’s throat move, knuckles turning white as they curl around the edge of the table. “Why wasn’t I called?”
For all Dennis isn’t scared of Andrew, he knows exactly what to say to make him feel as if he’s getting punished anyway. He looks away, stupidly enough.
Andrew curls a hand around his chin, shaking it ever so lightly. “Eyes on me.”
Dennis’ eyes find him immediately. “And risk you setting the building on fire?”
The corner of Andrew’s lip twitches, but there is nothing humorous about it. “Not with you in it.”

When Robby finally goes on sabbatical, Dennis is scheduled exclusively for nightshift. It’s inconvenient, at first, having to take the bus everywhere now that he was completely unaligned with Trinity, but then Dr. Abbot starts to offer to take him home. And then to breakfast before he takes him home. And then just to his own home to sleep instead of his apartment with Trinity. And then, the next thing Dennis realizes, when Abbot kisses him, is that he might be dating Dr. Abbot.

“Why the Hell are you still praying?” Robby bites as the barn door closes behind them. Everyone else is back in the house, getting as comfortable as they possibly can for their short break. “What kind of God do you think would do this, and still want to save you?”
Before Robby could become a victim of rationality, he yanked Dennis into a fiercely passionate kiss, wasting no time in licking into the younger man’s mouth. He could taste the sweat that had collected on Dennis’s upper lip, and the tangerine the boy had eaten when they’d arrived at the house. Fruit and flesh, a rare treat for them both.
OR
Caught in the midst of a virus outbreak, Dennis joins a group of survivors. Him and Robby don't always mesh, and it all comes to a head when the group come across a farm house and decide to settle. They'll work it out...in their own way.

A neatly made bed greeted him, dark walls, books and a desk in the corner with a radio, minimal pictures and decor littering the bedroom. The final thing that Dennis lay his eyes on was…a dog bed? A big, very plush looking dog bed. A dog bed that appeared as though it was entirely unused.OR
Dennis's first night house sitting, and he can't decide between the sofa or Robby's bed. Well, until he sees the human sized dog bed. Though, right as he dozes off, Robby comes home and finds him right where he wants him to be.
