What if Peter Parker was not born on August 10th 2001, but on August 10th 1922?
What if he grew up alongside Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes?
What if went to war with his two best friends?
And what if Hydra didn't only get Bucky, but in the end Peter too?Peter Parker was born and raised in 1920s Brooklyn to two loving parents and surrounded by people he called family. Childhood turned to adolescence turned to young adulthood, and through dealing with sickness, bullies and sexuality he lived life to its fullest. He looked forward to going to school, finding a job and falling in love.
That is until WWII throws a spanner in the works. But Peter was never one to take a seat on the sidelines.
(Ps, apologies but this fic is updated purely when I feel like it. Uni is an ass kicker and inspo is on the decline so, sorry but don't get your hopes up on an update any time soon)

If you were to ask anyone who knew Peter Parker, ‘How would you describe him?’, the first word that comes to mind would probably be nerd, followed by genius or kind, and then maybe patient and forgiving. But the thing is, nobody at Midtown had seen Peter since the last day of sophomore year. It was now mid-February. No matter how many times Ned or MJ rang his phone – there was no one there to answer it.
It wasn’t until Ned had hacked Mr Stark’s phone that they finally received an answer to their plea.

Summary
The struggle was real when it came to keeping a secret identity. Especially when the identity was kept from a group of superheroes made up of a retired agent, a retired assassin, a retired super-assassin, a super soldier, a couple military men, some geniuses and a literal god.
Peter thought he would be able to keep his name and face away from the spotlight until he was at least old enough to drink. He hoped that his Parker Luck would hold out until his twenty-first birthday, maybe even past that. But a villain crawling out of the woodwork and a couple of life-threatening injuries were quick to change his plans.
Hopefully, he could just flash those Bambi eyes and get it over with.

Todd's choice to try and overcome his shyness and anxiety leads to a night in tears, blood and panic. Neil struggles to hold it together and Knox tries to protect the friend he holds close. A split second of violence is all it takes for a night to crumble.
