Summary
Five Pebbles had been witness to a lot of things in his life. He had lived an incredibly long life even by the high standards set due to the cycle, so it was only natural he had. But this? This should be impossible.
Or: one of those iterators can cycle fics with Five Pebbles but instead of being sent back to the start of the time line as we know it, he’s sent all the way back to the times of the ancients, and is forced to try and change the fate of the iterators lest they be condemned to that horrible ice age once again.
