Vigdis glanced at Serana. Her cold, ice-blue eyes met persimmon ones and swirled with unspoken questions, her eyebrows still dipped in anger. The vampire glanced over her face—and froze when she spotted the cut on Vigdis’ pink lip.
“You’re bleeding,” she whispered.
Vigdis looked away, her brows slightly furrowed. She instinctively stuck out the tip of her tongue. It grazed over the wound, stained with the bright red ichor, then darted back into her mouth. She raised her arm and wiped the saliva onto her freckled wrist.
Serana tore her eyes away from Vigdis’ mouth, but it was far too late. Her face was aflame, the image of her tongue and bloodied lips burned into the back of her mind. She chewed the inside of her lip and turned away from Vigdis, her gaze now focused on the teal barrier that still raged around the trapped Moth Priest.

Summary
AU. Faith Lehane moves across the country to attend Sunnydale High during her senior year. This is her best chance at being noticed for a basketball scholarship at UC Sunnydale. There, she meets Buffy and her friends. Shenanigans ensue.
I want to write a story where there’s no magic at the beginning. I want to slowly introduce it as the story evolves to see what happens. But for now, everyone has led normal lives...for the most part. Hope you all enjoy!
Also, I’m trying a bit of a different way of writing stories. I notice most people have a sentence or two per paragraph; per character too. Kind of a way to differentiate the conversations. I figured I’d try it too. Let’s see how it goes lol.

His birthday was coming up, and as such, Harley had cheekily asked him what he wanted as a present when they were doing their normal pillow talk gossip session. Wearing her classic Harley costume was not really that big of a thing. She’d expected something crazy, like the Joker’s head on a platter, or ten pounds of LSD, or triple penetration. In comparison, a costume request was small potatoes. She wanted to pout about it; demand that he ask for something a little more interesting, but it was his present, so she supposed he could ask for anything he wanted.

Summary
Buffy wakes up in a coffin, clawing her way out of the sands of the California desert, which is unsettling enough, but she is so very confused, and Angel's acting so weird, and why does her throat hurt so much...?
My take on the classic "Buffy gets turned into a vampire" trope because everyone should be turned into a vampire imo. Angelus is kind of unhinged, Spike is depressed and waxes lyrical about his feelings with embarrassingly tewwible poetry, Drusilla is, well, Drusilla, and Buffy is a vampire now, apparently, but also still a slayer, and on top of that mind-boggling contradiction, is very, very ...... hungry.

I had written significantly more on this story (about 30k more) but lost the file as my writing usb got corrupted a year ago and it really bummed me out. I'm trying to rewrite this fic using the biglabs Writer (which is a really good online cloud-based writing app) but losing a heap of years of my writing really took the wind out on my sails in being excited for writing this fic, unfortunately, so I can't promise anything.Bookmarked by Toxin878
