   Summary

   Simon sobs, but it comes out as more of a laugh. Why was he laughing? Fuck if he knows anymore.

   “…hey…” Says the voice, remarkably gentle.

   Since when did Simon deserve gentle?

   …Since when did he uncover his ears?

   The voice is alarmingly clear now, so much so that he might have been able to close his eyes and imagine the person as though they were sat next to him.

   “…are you there?”

   Simon stares into the Eye of Death. She stares back. She does not have to say it, because he knows. His time was nearing its end. As survival becomes a hopeless prospect, Simon receives a radio transmission from someplace beyond the blood moon, beyond the corpses of stars and emptiness of space. A man's voice echoes within the confines of his iron prison and promises that he would be free, come hell or high water. Simon has no choice but to postpone his would-be death, just a little longer.

   (tl;dr, Simon and Grace talk on the radio. Big Feelings(tm) happen.)

   Summary

   On a routine mission to save another Star, Ryland, Rocky and their team of Eridians find an odd- HORRIFYING- Moon.

   And the poor, mutated man floating in its ocean.

   And decide to play Human Physical, Mental and Mutation Rehab- despite no one on board really knowing how.

   Simon is just glad he's not dead, and gets to try real food. And gets to see a Sun. And this weird little habitat that the other guy lives in is cool.

   ...Grace is pretty cool too, he guesses. Fuck the Rocks tho.
