“What was what like?” Ballister replied to the question asked by Nimona, breaking the tension of a card game, a card game which Ballister at the moment seemed to be losing.
“Ya know, running away with-'' she gestured at the robotic arm before tilting her head a bit and making a thinking expression. “-maybe not with. Let me reword that, how about lack thereof of an arm? Genuine question.” She placed another card down, still doing better than Ballister in this game of luck.

Dan expected to find Herbert in the basement conducting some kind of experiment on various body parts, but finding him in the homes bathroom huddled against the toilet shaking was the last thing he would've guessed.
"-Body momentarily going limp as neon green spit drained from his mouth into the bowl. A shiver raked its way through the lithe scientist's body, a feverish feeling overtaking him as his grip on the bowl ceased. His body jerked however, not letting his hands fall, instead he placed them more so on the top, the feeling of his sweat stricken skin touching the cold porcelain almost comparable to a dull stab, a stab which never ceased."

McCoy blinked in and out of conscience, only vaguely aware of his surroundings. His entire body was in pain, but in that distant way that meant they gave him the heavy painkillers. He would complain if he could, but it was too hard to concentrate enough to worry about what his reservations were in regards to being wounded in action.
