Summary
On the road back to Edoras after Helm's Deep and Isengard, Aragorn is still grieving Arwen's apparent departure to the Havens. But Eowyn is pleasant company, and perhaps something more.
Why then, is his heart troubled?
This is my paltry answer to the Movieverse depiction of Aragorn and Eowyn, and perhaps to all who wish their relationship would have continued.

Summary
If Boromir had lived, so would have Denethor. And the Steward of Gondor holds no love for a Ranger from the North, victor and savior of Minas Tirith though he may be.
In the aftermath of the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, there is little time for rest. Much healing and restoration must be done. But Denethor hates and schemes, and he is still the ruler of Gondor.
And still the one who can deliver traitors over to death.

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
“An astronaut! I’m going to fly into space one day!” Colton declared in all his five-year-old authority. “I’ll fly to the moon and look down at the entire Earth and see everything!”
“You can’t look ‘down’ at Earth,” Ryland huffed. “There is no up or down in space.”
“Whatever. You’ll come, too, won’t you Ry?”
“No way, Colt. You’re the crazy one. I’ll just do the math for you to go to space.”
“Deal!”
Except, of course things don’t go that way. Ryland is the one that gets sent into space, leaving Colt behind on a cold and starving world. Ryland wakes up alone on a spaceship light years away from Earth, wondering why his face reminds him of someone else. Colt looks up towards the stars every day, wishing and wondering if he will ever get to see his brother again.In other words, the Coltland twins AU has consumed me and I had to write my piece about them, of them growing up over the years before being forced apart by their doomed narrative.

Summary
When Rocky wakes up after Adrian, he's relieved they're both alive, but immediately knows that something is off with Grace. He's having trouble breathing, sleeping a lot, and spiking fevers. As much as Grace wants to blame it on lung irritation from the ammonia in Rocky's atmosphere, Rocky knows he's downplaying it, and it's not going to work.
However, before he can actually do anything about it, the ship's power goes out. Taumoeba have gotten into the fuel and eaten all the astrophage, leaving them with no choice but to steal from the beetles.
Which are on the outside of the ship.
Which means two EVAs and a lot of lab work for Grace, all while his condition declines from what's quickly turning into a serious health problem. All Rocky can do is make sure he has what he needs and try to take care of him as best he can from afar, hoping they can get to safety before Grace's health is too fragile to recover.Bookmarked by ThatOneSmileyFace
