“The Hail Mary?” The name reminded him of Eden. But Eden could only dream of this much light. This had to be heaven.
Before the robovoice said any more, footsteps thudded towards them. Simon crawled back. Why weren’t his legs working? He looked down and at least they were still there. Oh God, please be heaven and not hell.
A glowing figure threw the door open.
ELEVATED STRESS SIGNALS DETECTED. PLEASE BREATHE AT THE TONE.
His vision blurred again and he couldn’t even hear the chime this time, just strange musical notes. He could see the glowing figure dim into the shape of a man. No, no, this couldn’t be hell. After all, hell didn’t have angels.

Summary
It was hard to gander how long Grace was on Erid when Simon came along. He could try measuring it out using the Earth’s Gregorian calendar like he did on the Hail Mary, but that’s when he still had a “lights out” timer and didn’t live on a planet with a very different yearly calendar. Teaching little eridians has forced him to adapt to their schedule more than his.
Where was he going with this?
Right! Simon.
He still hadn’t met him yet.
Or Rocky and other eridians find a wormhole and then an injured human man! They bring him to Erid and quarantine him to get him nice and healthy, but slowly find out he’s much different than their beloved science teacher.

Summary
Danny completed his dream of being an astronaut. He earned his place as a respected member of the science community and may or may not be a bit of a public figure. Well, Danny Aykroyd is. Danny Fenton disappeared the minute Danny Aykroyd graduated. NASA knew what the name Fenton represented. Crack-pot ghost hunters who claim pseudoscience was true. A joke in the science community. They couldn't have a star candidate representing NASA with the name Fenton. But not everything stays buried when it comes to nosy reporters.
