Dimitri, now 24, has been the king of Faerghus for two years; he begins to feel the pressure of the work and responsibilities entitled to the task of king. He looks for a secretary to help him alleviate the work.
Jeralt recommends his son, Byleth, who he boasts about, explaining how diligent he is.
The day has come, and Byleth is escorted to Dimitri's office by Dedue. Upon meeting, Dimitri's preconceptions of Byleth were proven wrong. He was nothing like Jeralt. He was quiet and straight to the point, and the most annoying part was his expression never changed. Dimitri felt wary and unsure.
However, this is only the beginning of their relationship and their journey. While the road holds blossoming and budding experiences and feelings for the two, a thorny path threatens the sunny pasture waiting for them.
This will be a 3-part fic separated into the 3 major arcs of the story.
