Summary
Someone in the Camelot (Merlin) has rooted out a spy on the council. This anonymous person (who is obviously Merlin) put this accusation into a long letter, full of evidence from a thorough investigation and infiltration of the spy's circle within the staff. Arthur is remarkably impressed with this mystery detective (again, Merlin) and becomes set on uncovering their identity.
Merlin didn't think things would get out of hand. He only wanted to get rid of the spy publicly and legally, so he forewent the magic and decided to conduct a counterintelligence mission for months to gather evidence the old-fashioned way—like anyone would! But suddenly Arthur is searching for him, and magic or not, he learned a long time ago to stay in the shadows.
George is so tired. It is so obvious. King Arthur is disappointingly unobservant, and George cannot take this much longer.

Summary
It was over. Arthur was here. The Lamia was slain. Gwen was alright. The knights would be back to normal. It was over.
Able to relax for the first time in days, he let his knees buckle and his back slide down the wall. He hit the ground, and his vision turned to mist.
Merlin didn't make it out of his encounter with the Lamia unscathed, or so Arthur thinks when he slays the beast and finds Merlin slumped against the wall and bleeding. When he learns the true source of Merlin's injuries he is furious. He does his best to push that anger away though, because being there for Merlin matters far more right now.

“Take a sit, there’s a good lad,” Alfred says softly as he wraps a nearby afghan around Tim’s shoulders. Alfred sits next to Tim on the sofa and pulls a box of tissues from the side table, offering them to Tim. He takes one, wipes his eyes, blows his nose, and slowly attempts to breathe.
“I--I’m sorry,” Tim whispers. His breath hitches. “I’m sorry I scared you, everyone is fine--,”
“You are not fine, love.”
