Mr. Stark's voice cut through the war cries, frantic and terrified as if knowing what he was about to do. Peter looked back over his shoulder, catching a glimpse of the battered Iron Man armor fighting through a sea of aliens.
I'm sorry, Peter thought.
He slid his right hand into the gauntlet.
Or, Peter Parker snapped his fingers in 2023 to save the world. Instead of dying, he woke up on a freezing mattress in 2011. Now, he has to navigate a timeline that doesn't know him, a power he can barely control, and—wow, Mr. Stark looks young.

Sixteen years old, blood in his nose, screams in his ears—Peter Parker was tired of being a hero.
But he was one.
So he asked himself a question.
“How could someone like me—a teenager who can only stick to walls—fix something like this?”
And in that moment, realization struck him. The thing in his arms—the gauntlet decorated with six stones of infinite power—could give him the power to do so. Could give him the power to fix everything.
All the deaths.
All the wounds.
All the trauma.
Every eye that would never see again. Every nose that would never smell anything else. All of it could be undone.
And so Peter made a decision.
Or, Peter snaps his fingers on a battle field and opens his eyes on December 4th, 2011... With 6 marks on his right hand.
DISCONTINUED! I am too sentimental to delete this but due to pacing reasons I posted a new edited version of this. I will probably delete this once it hits more kudos than this though. The new one is the second part of this series.

He died upon impact with the ground. But, first, far from home, a monkey touched the stars.
Far from home, a child of Earth was spat out. Here, he is resurrected, emerged into a new world.

(Three years in to the journey to Erid, there is something so bright and big in the Hail Mary’s path that it triggers an automatic shutdown of their engines.
When they stop, there is nothing bright there. In the center of where this anomaly would have been, there is a submarine. An improbable submarine, and the even more improbable person inside of it. He is far from home, praying for safety in his dreams, where he floats in the water of kind oceans and hears his mother spin bedtime stories. He wants, with all his being, to be saved.
