Sammy Lawrence has had many a strange coping mechanism for the Horrors both mundane and truly horrific. before the ink got him and long after. but this has to take the cake. but with him trying to put himself back together after finally being freed from the inky cycle. good god does he need this.

Riza stumbled into the hollow, mouth agape with every breath she took. She collapsed in a heap, tail sprawled behind her. Her entire body ached, her muscles sore from the run, her paw pads cracked from the rocky soil. Riza twisted her head to lick clumsily at the wound on her shoulder; the rain had washed most of the blood off of her fur, but the gash was still open and oozing.
