Summary
You worked with Ryland Grace on the Project Hail Mary - you, having studied astrophysics, were trying to crack the code for superluminal speed (warp speed), and you needed Ryland's help with Astrophage. There was a growing relationship between the two of you, before Ryland was forcefully placed onto the Hail Mary, leaving behind more than just you and your potential relationship, but a daughter that had been a surprise. Could you figure out the superluminal speed drive to bring him home before any more time passed?
This will progress from his time on the Hail Mary and his past memory recollections, to his time on Erid (briefly), until eventually we get to his time back on Earth.

Summary
In an alternate universe, the taumoeba didn't become immune to xenonite. Ryland Grace returns to Earth, and Rocky to Erid. Grace finds it difficult to re-adjust to a life on a planet he doesn't recognize, filled with people who have already grieved his passing. And it doesn't help that his internal dialogue has manifested itself as his alien best friend, who he will never see again.

Summary
When Grace wakes up on the Hail Mary, he tries everything he can to wake the only surviving crewmate from her coma. Nothing works until he meets Rocky.
Grace and Finch find themselves on the Hail Mary without their memories, but with one common goal: save the stars. Neither of them expect to find a home in Rocky, nor for their bond with him to bring them closer. As they learn more about themselves, their mission, and how they lost their memories, they quickly realize that neither of them are equipped to deal with the growing comfort they find in each other.
