Summary
“I want—“ Eddie’s not entirely sure what he wants. He feels achy, restless and exhausted at the same time. He needs something, more. More hands, more pressure, more kissing, more Buck. “Please, I—“
Buck turns him over on his back to search his face, earnest and determined and glowing like he’s in his element. Eddie’s getting drunk on seeing him in this particular element. “What can I do, baby? What do you need?”
Buck shifts his hips, grinding down slow and sensual and delicious. Reflexively, Eddie spreads his legs to accommodate him, and Buck moans as they get even closer. Close enough, even, for Eddie to feel him. and fuck, shit, that’s it, isn’t it. That’s what he needs.
“I feel,” Eddie’s cheeks burn, but the word fits as he forces it out, “empty.”
Buck groans loudly, dropping his forehead to Eddie’s shoulder. “Oh my god. Oh my god, Eddie.”

Summary
“I gotta be dreaming.”
Buck pinches him. Hard.
“Jesus Christ, Buck.”
“See? Not dreaming.”
Eddie sends him an irritated, wary look, but Buck is getting kind of amped up, so he starts pacing around with his hands on his head.
“Okay, we’re—we’re stuck in a fucking time loop. Both of us. Um, what if it’s like. What’s that movie called? Groundhog Day! Where we have to learn to be better people. Or like a fucking. Uh. A Christmas Carol.”
“A Christmas Carol isn’t about a time loop,” Eddie adds unhelpfully.
“Okay, b-but some fantastical shit happens and they have to be better.” Buck gasps. “Oh my God, Eddie. What if we’re terrible people?”
Buck and Eddie start living the same day over and over again.

Summary
“I thought you were staying with Eddie,” she says. He looks soggy. There’s really no other way to describe it. “Why do you need to live in my apartment?”
“I was,” he says, and she expects him to elaborate on what’s changed, but he doesn’t. It’s not the first time she’s wondered what’s going on there, but she always felt it was none of her business. It isn’t her business. Which is why half of said business should not be standing in her kitchen right now, looking like a gigantic lost puppy.Buck needs a place to live. Athena has a room.

Summary
Adriana is giggling and clapping and squealing so loudly that, along with the music playing from the stereo, no one hears Dad come in until there’s a sharp bark of “Edmundo!” from the kitchen.
Eddie knows what that tone means, and he suddenly drops Nutcracker Barbie on her side, startling both Adriana and Sophia. He rushes from the playroom to the kitchen as Adri’s lower lip trembles.
“Yes, Papi?” he asks cautiously, trying to ignore the sound of Adriana’s sudden wailing from the playroom.
“How many boys do you know who play with dolls?”
