Summary
As the oldest daughter, the future responsibilities of leadership fall upon Alice Shield's shoulders, but in place of shining aptitude is a struggle to grasp the basics of her people's magick. Instead, Bakugo shifted his gaze back and forth between them hard, with a look of contemplation. Suddenly, he let out a slight snort that bordered on laughter, with an ominous grin slowly creeping across his face. Lowering onto the coffee table, he leaned back on the palms of his hands, legs spread like an invitation.
"Kiss."

“Have you ever thought about...” Eijirou clears his throat again and stares at a picture of them stuck to the refrigerator door with a magnet. “I guess—taking the lead more? Like, I mean—with sex, you take the lead plenty with other things!” He turns, a jerky motion, and grabs at a dish towel. “I was just asking specifically about…that,” he explains, as if it could have been unclear. His hand is visibly shaking when he starts swiping it over one of the already half-dried plates in the dish rack, and Katsuki frowns at the tremoring. This isn’t what he thought Eijirou was gonna ask about—
He keeps talking. “Just, like. I don’t know—” Eijirou shrugs. “Just being more…like, being more, um, dominant, you know? Am I making sense?” He trails into a sheepish laugh, moves to the next plate in the dish rack. He still isn’t looking at Katsuki. “Just—wondering if you’ve thought about it.”
Katsuki looks at him. “Not really.” He’s only being honest. He continues to look in hopes that it will get Eijirou to meet his gaze, stop being so shifty. But he knows he’s said the exact wrong thing when Eijirou’s shoulders hitch up and the back of his neck and his ears flush.
“Oh. Okay.” He sounds strangled. Well, shit.

Katsuki called out sick, something he only ever did in moments like these. A developing migraine settled behind his eyes and he was cramping so hard, he thought his insides were trying to flip themselves inside out, the heated water bottle he held to his stomach now cooled and rendered useless. Generally he felt strong enough to handle it, sometimes pushed himself until he wavered on the edge of consciousness.
