Synopsis:
Wen Liu, as a Vidyadhara, thinks that he only had lofty dreams of working as a researcher, with a 9-5 job producing results once every 100 years, while also trying to find an ethical solution to their race’s incapability to reproduce on the sides:Dang Feng, who’s being used as a live test sample:
One day, while looking at the battlefield reports, Wen Liu slowly realized one thing— It seems, that Luofu cloud knight units seems to be overly relying on cold weapons? Feeling a looming crisis, Wen Liu cleverly dragged along his close friends to research weapons of mass explosions:
Ying Xing (Blade), who was dragged along to build bombs and Flamethrowers:
Jing Yuan and Jing Liu, who was forced to become the weapons test subject:
Dang Feng, who’s there to put out the fire:
All in all, Wen Liu thinks that his life had been successful and smooth sailing, surrounded by his close friends, even managing to put his name in the genius society:

Summary
Grace kept running, using frantic energy he had never felt before. He was sure if he just ran long enough, he would escape.
Suddenly the trees ended and he was running through a meadow. The ground flattened and Grace ran faster, each breath burning in his throat as he chased his freedom.
Something hit his back. He fell to the ground, the shock of it bringing tears to his eyes.
Hands grabbed his arms, yanking them behind him. He twisted, crying out as he tried to get free, but he was no match for the weight pinning him down.
He twisted his head to look up as Simon pulled a needle out of his pocket, pulling the cap off with his teeth and spitting it to the side. His gaze was cold, determined.
“Please,” Grace begged. “Please, don’t do this Simon!”
“I’m sorry,” the man said. “I have to.”
He plunged the needle into Grace’s neck.
In other words, Simon learns that Grace is getting sent on the Hail Mary and he makes the most selfish decision possible: saving Grace himself.

Summary
Still, as they stare at each other, waiting for someone's resolve to crack, Grace holds his gaze. He never looks away. Never denying him that connection.
“Did you want to come in?” Grace suddenly asks, voice quiet and raspy.
Simon blinks. Casts his gaze aside. Shifts his weight. He must want that, right? Why else would his subconscious drag him here?

In his hands was a glass vial. Grace quickly twisted off the cap and downed it.
“That was a heat inducer. It will kick in in about 45 minutes.”
Simon blinked, shocked at the omega.
“I’m here to help you. We are in this together now.” Grace’s words would have meant a lot to him if he could have understood them.
Unfortunately, everything after “heat inducer” had been lost to the static noise of his lust.
Simon grabbed Grace on the hips and kissed him.

The man introduced himself as Matt, and Grace found him surprisingly easy to talk to. He said he was a lawyer and had recently moved here from New York. Matt somehow managed to make way too many blind jokes in such a short time, but he also laughed at Grace’s stupid science puns, even if he admitted he didn’t get half of them.
