Summary
A tight space in a balmy climate quickly convinced us to shed our uniform jackets. The shirts beneath them gradually unzipped, and buttons came undone to fight off the heat. Only a fraction more skin was exposed, less than I’d show in civvies on a day off, but it still defied protocol.
We’d both been in tighter situations than that—figuratively and literally—with bare arms abound, but neither of us accounted for the slug effect.

This story will have chapters that I shall try to release frequently, building up to the relationship between you and Thomas Thorne and how you cope as a new ghost of the mixed bunch of 8 spectres.
