I have so many feelings, I don't know what to do with myself. The sheer amount of heart (not to mention the heartbreak) this story has is so painfully genuine. It can also be pretty heavy--I was putting A LOT of trust in that Happy Ending tag.
The sequel is also delightful, though currently incomplete (and possibly discontinued). Still, the continuation is a hard-won balm to the horrors of Labyrinths, and I'm glad that we get to glimpse the beginnings of redemption, regardless.

As the horrific implications begin to build, Lucifer must do everything he can to protect Charlie, the hotel, Hell, and perhaps even Heaven. Old foes he thought long put to rest rise again and threaten everything he's ever known. With unexpected allies, Lucifer must learn the truth about what is threatening to destroy everything Heaven and Hell stand for, and most importantly-to stop it before it becomes too late.

Whoa-o-o-o. This fic, man! WOW! Reading this is the absolute best use of my time, and I'm not saying that lightly (I mean, have you SEEN the word count?). I've kept coming back week after week for the past 2 years, so definitely take a gander on this one if you're looking for an epically fun fic that masters snarky character interactions, complex and entertaining lore drops, and genuinely fluffy heart-to-hearts.
(The last scene in Chapter 20 is my favorite but there are soooo many to choose from; but that one is for sure my comfort chapter haha. NO MORE EXTERMINATIONS! Maybe try to extort two different dumbasses next time, Sera! Yess! Chapter 115 is ALSO fire btw. We're getting to the penultimate chapter and it is SO SO SO EXCITING, whoo hoo!)

buried aliveput in the box and has a Bad Time, until Pomni and Kinger show up.His stage. They were under his stage. They'd trapped him under his stage. Where he'd announced his adventures everyday (his systems continue to hum angrily at him at his lack of any) and his humans got progressively more irritated with him. Where he poured his heart out with endless ideas, hoping to please at least one of them. Scratch had placed his failsafe prison under his stage.
Caine doesn't know why that detail was sticking out to him so much.
Every continuation of this series is another gem to add to my treasure chest of re-reads.
