Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Jack sighed. "How did you even see me get injured? You weren't anywhere near me!"
Bunny chuckled, and Jack shuddered as he felt the heat of it against his skin. "Aw, were ye keepin' tabs on me, Frostbite?"
"Never mind", Jack bit out. "Fine, whatever, I'll take a break. You should go help her."
Bunny sighed, and carefully tugged Jack down until they were sitting. Jack was cradled between his legs, his back pressed against the Pooka's chest.
Firm arms wound around his waist, and Bunny rested his chin on his head. "Like I said, she's nearly done. And someone needs to make sure ye don't go flying off."
Jack scoffed, but there was no real heat behind it. It was a fair enough estimate, and honestly, it was getting harder to think with the heat radiating from Bunny. Jack could feel it through his clothes, a sweet, syrupy warmth that made him want to close his eyes and doze against that furry chest.

Summary
Humans fear the things they don't understand. And the four of them? They're about as far from human understanding as you can get. But outcasts have a way of finding each other.
Naturally, a lot of unusual stuff happens in a house of 4 eldritch horrors.
Or: a nonlinear story of how the Clooless guys found each other, and glimpses into the weird and mildly terrifying life they've built together.

In front of the sink, there’s a vaguely humanoid mass of limbs and vines, fungus sprouting between feathers, scales dotting pale skin. Spines and fins stretch out and fold away. There’s wings and tails, arms and legs, ever-shifting, ever-changing. It’s hard to look at.
“Dude,” Droid says. “You’re wasting the water.”
A blue eye flicks towards him. It’s glowing just slightly. The humming stops, replaced by a low rumble.
“Hey, Pezzy. Bad day?”Pezzy has a rough night. Droid helps. Featuring cats, struggles with humanity, bad jokes, and Puffer as the most responsible person in the house.

He works with a steady hand and singular focus to prepare the meal, eventually sliding a steaming plate in front of Tim where he sits at the kitchen island before digging into his own pile of french toast. Tim digs in, complimenting and moaning over the dish at all the right times to make Jason preen. It is pretty damn good. Quite excellent, if he says so himself. Which is why he’s mildly offended when Tim makes it about halfway through his meal before doubling over the counter and darting off to the bathroom to hurl up everything in his stomach.
Or, Tim has to get surgery and Jason takes care of him.

That feeling really wasn't uncommon anymore, but he really, really didn't think looking for a witch could make him feel even worse than before. He was so tired . But his body refused to let him sleep, his mind kept thinking about what ifs and what abouts. He was on the verge of breaking down, even he could feel it.
Chan sighed for the thirteenth time today as he finally entered Yellow Wood.
