Summary
Robert considered himself to be a man who made a reasonable amount of mistakes. He didn’t make them all the time, but he didn't avoid them all the time either. He'd been sure his whole life that saying the words “I'm Mecha Man” would be a mistake. He'd never expected to say it to a group, much less a group of ex-supervillains. Even so, here he was. The words left his lips numb, his heart skipping a beat even as he kept his expression level. And then the words were out, and he felt relief. A weight came off his chest until he looked to his left. To burning red eyes and a clenched jaw. The weight on his chest was gone, only to be replaced with a pit in his stomach as he realized in full how badly he'd fucked up.

Summary
Chad had a hook-up the night before his fight with Mecha Man with a strange man named Bert. He doesn't think much on it as he is subsequently kicked out of his villain group, pressured to quit villainry by his sister, and the loss of his two precious fingers. Folding under the pressure, he decides to join the Superhero Dispatch Network and to get his life back on track for his family. The team and SDN are different from everything he knew before, but he likes it. What he doesn't like is their strange new Dispatcher Robert and the strange attraction he feels for him. Little does Flambae know, that the man he hates, the man he thinks about in the dead of night, and his new boss are all the same person. Will they end up working it out? Or will it go down in flames like everything else in Chad's life?
