Summary
*set just after the 2012 avengers but is kind of a separate AU where Loki gets sent back to Asgard, the rest of the MCU events don’t happen bc I don’t want them to*
After Loki’s attempts at reigning Midgard, Odin is left to deal with his punishment.
With the news of Thor no longer wanting the throne of Asgard, Odin is left with no choice but to make Loki his new heir.
Under the watchful eyes of Odin, Loki was to remain the Prince of Asgard, but having his freedom stripped from him, to shape him into becoming the next King of Asgard.
In order to secure the throne, Odin has arranged a marriage for Loki, but unbeknownst to him, it is to his lifelong nemesis, Runa Bjorndottir, the daughter of a high lord of Agard.
The only thing the pair can agree on is that they hate each other.
Will the two of them be able to set their differences aside for the greater good or will their inability to swallow their pride, see the end of Odin’s lineage?
Or perhaps, over the horizon, a better future lies for the both of them?
