What he and the other monsters find is not what anyone had ever expected, though it did make sense why the latest human to fall underground hadn’t been as scared of a bunch of monsters trying to eat her as she should have been.
You always knew that civilization would eventually fall apart, your instincts telling you that no mater how hard humans tried, things were never meant to last. That instinct served you well when your fears came true, your insistence on being ready for the world to fall apart… you had been left with everything you needed to survive, everything but other people to keep you from going off the deep end.

Blue was tired, he was hungry, and quite frankly, he was done with Ink and Dream and how they treated him. He knew if this went on much longer, he was going to fall down from malnutrition or exhaustion before he fell in battle. Well, none of Nightmare's followers seemed to be treated poorly, so Blue might as well join him.
Or my take on the Blue joins the Bad Sanses, because there isn't enough, and I need more.
I just need more Blue-centric fics, really.

“I know.” Killer stepped back as his wrist was caught, held in the air as he tightened his grip around the knife.
Dream hummed in puzzlement.
“Then why try?” He asked, craning his head to the side as Killer attempted to push himself away from Dream’s relentless grip, failing as he did so.
Unexpectedly, Killer moved forward, until their bodies were almost touching each other. He leaned his head towards Dream’s ear.
“Because it’s addicting.”
