Summary
In a world in which Voldemort never existed, pureblood supremacy reigns supreme. And in this stratified and wretched world, two children meet within the hallowed halls of a great, ancient magical school. It is within these halls that futures are made; particularly that of a Muggle-born girl and a pureblood scion.
Within these halls, and within these two, the hierarchies of their blood-supremacist world are laid bare.
This is a tale of a boy and a girl.
A tale of figs and of wasps.
But most of all, it is a story about how love doesn’t save anybody.Inspired by “Lay Waste the Sky” by FreyaFallen

She will find Tom Riddle there. She will get what she needs from him. And she will once again live up to her reputation as the smartest witch of her generation.
She will be in complete control. Naturally.

Summary
“I was hoping you would do me the favor of being something of a student assistant to me this year. As it’s my first year teaching, I thought that I ought to try to delegate certain tasks, particularly ones relating to the grading of essays and the like for my younger classes in order to put more effort into lesson plans for my students sitting their O.W.Ls and N.E.W.T.s this year. What do you say, Hermione?”
That was… a lot. To absorb, to unpack, to likely walk around in a daze for the rest of the day remembering the last time she had heard him call her Hermione. In a darkened corridor, lips on her neck, only thin barriers of clothing stopping their bodies from being joined in the most intimate way possible. “Fuck, Hermione…”
After an err in judgement at Slughorn’s Yule party in her sixth year, Hermione gets an unpleasant surprise as she begins her seventh year. Can she force herself to stay away from him, or are they inevitable?

Summary
Hermione Granger wakes in 1954 with a new name and a pureblood family she wasn't born into. Her new brother spends the summer teaching her how to survive in a world that would destroy her if it knew what she was.
Then she finds Tom Riddle, not a monster, not yet a Dark Lord. Controlled, charming in ways she didn't expect. Dumbledore raised him here. Loved him. Maybe that changed everything. Maybe the thing she feared doesn't exist in this world.
She wants to believe that. She's starting to.
But her brother watches her too closely for a man who calls her a duty. And Tom — who reads everyone in the room — has noticed she doesn't fit the patterns.
The dates are wrong. The history doesn't match. Nobody will tell her how she got here.
Some choices are made. Others are engineered.
