“Osamu…what’s going on?—” But the words caught in his throat as he took in the scene. Hikari was thrashing in his father’s grip, choking on sobs. Chuuya’s eyes widened. “What are you doing?!”
Dazai turned his head toward his husband, his eyes still cold as ice. “Our son tried to run away from this house.” There was no mockery in his tone. His voice carried anger disguised as calm. “I wonder who gave him such courage?” His words dripped with accusation.
For a moment, Chuuya lunged forward, desperate to take his son into his arms. But Dazai’s body shifted between them, steel and immovable, like a wall.
“No.” he said, the word falling from his lips like ice. “You’ve spoiled him enough. He’ll stay in the basement tonight. Tomorrow, I’ll give orders to have the window in his room fixed.”

Something is weird here.
Cale took a few steps backward, facing himself to the mirror. He stared to his reflection with intense gaze like a hawk. He turned his face around; making weird expression as he continued. Ominous feeling clouded his beating heart the longer he stares to his eyes as if he was trying to read what is hidden deep inside it.

Cale stumbled backward on his feet and his butt landed to the ground. His heart began to beat more rapidly than before. Cold sweats formed over his face as goosebumps spread throughout his skin. He had to catch his breath because this sudden take really startled him.
Did he—was there a voice inside his head?
