Summary
A beautiful world meets an ugly end, and in the midst of its waning days, its fetid corpse may yet give birth to new life. Alien to its own mother, it is by ravenous lust will it claw every inch of dirt, concrete, and bone to rise above all others. For Toxa, a human woman transformed by the mysterious 'Changing', her alien physique begets ever stranger changes in her own mind. Yet, in the ruins of who she used to be, the monster she may yet become will devour even the horrors of the apocalypse. For the Hive, there is no other future than complete supremacy: everything and everyone else shall join with it, as members or nourishment.
Even in the concrete jungles, survival of the fittest remains the only test that matters.
