Summary
Gandalf is in an awfully bad mood when he arrives at Bilbo Baggin's house, only to find that the once adventurous young Hobbit is now a respectful (read: boring) gentlehobbit. But what if their meeting didn't occur like that?
Gandalf tried to visit Bilbo earlier in the year, but Bilbo was not home. ("Gandalf came to the Shire to visit him in T.A. 2941 but [Bilbo] had disappeared again [on one of his walks] because of Elven new year" (http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Bilbo))
Holman Greenhand, Bilbo's current gardener, (pre-Hamfast Gamgee, see http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Holman_Greenhand), tells Gandalf where Bilbo went on his walk instead of describing him. Thus, Gandalf meets with Bilbo on Yestarë, the Elven New Year, the first day of spring and the renewal of nature. Point being, their meeting is much more pleasant and much earlier. This changes things. (A lot of things.)
OR
An AU wherein their earlier meeting sets off a chain of events that changes the fate of Middle-Earth.

“Fuck you Zoro!” Sanji yells, then makes a dramatic gurgling sound like he’s drowning.
“Don’t worry Sanji, I’ll stretch real long and grab you!” Luffy calls, jumping down as well and dragging Sanji by the arm up to the ladder. He climbs up first then looks down at Sanji, who grips the metal ladder hard, trying his best to seem half drowned, “You’re safe now,” Luffy whispers, the quietest he’s been all day. “Cause you’re mine and I always make sure my people are safe.”
He holds out his hand.
Sanji takes it.

Summary
Their ‘honeymoon phase’ ends at seven twenty in the morning on Tuesday with Sanji trying to strangle Zoro in front of the lockers.
He manages to get Zoro in a headlock and he’s actually turning kind of gray-ish by the time Usopp yells that a teacher is coming and Sanji has to let go.
Afterwards, Zoro stretches out his shoulders and grins back, like Sanji hadn’t just felt his pulse under his own fingers.
Sanji resolves to kill him at first opportunity. He cannot be caught having these kinds of horrifying feelings for Zoro Roronoa.
Or: Zoro confesses at the start of their senior year. This changes some things, but not others.

The first night, Sanji writes a loose will on the back of a napkin, which details that, in the scenario that a thirty-year-old crystal ball turns his brains into pudding, all his earthly possessions will go to Nami to do with as she sees fit. After several moments of debate, he scribbles in a clause stating that Usopp could have his basil plant should he wish to raise it in his stead. He leaves Luffy his secret store of canned goods beneath the false bottom of the downstairs pantry.
To Zoro, he leaves nothing, on account of the fact that Sanji is risking permanently sauteing his consciousness for his sake.
Following an air accident, potion's specialist Sanji scrys their new delivery boy one time just for the sake of it. What he doesn’t expect is to continue seeing him over and over again in his dreams.
