Summary
Sua’s face crumples. “Don’t, Mizi. I don’t want to hear it. Just— get in the shower already.” Her gaze catches on the love bites again, and she grits her teeth, trying her best to ignore them.
But Mizi notices where her gaze is going, and her hackles raise. “I didn’t want them, okay?!” She’s angry now that Sua’s worked her up, and they’re both too exhausted to de-escalate. Mizi walks forward, jabbing at her chest, backing her up against the wall. “You WANTED me to pursue this dream! You supported me every step of the way! And what, you can’t handle—”
Sua pushes her hand away roughly— eyes narrowing, and she’s yelling too, now. “Me wanting you to be an idol doesn’t mean I want you out there- I don’t know—” She averts her gaze, voice harsh and discordant. “—making out with random guys, Mizi! Seriously, what the fuck!”
Mizi scoffs. “Oh, so we’re swearing now. Thought you were too delicate for that.”

Summary
Sua’s breath is warm as she closes in, pulling her mouth open with a finger, like some sort of plaything. Familiar territory. Their lips meet, gentle and loving. God.
Then, white-hot pain. Sua bites, as hard as she can. Blood spills from the side of Mizi’s mouth. Flesh is torn away— Mizi gasps in agony, pulling away, but Sua holds her in place with her fingertips. Kisses her like she’s dying, like she doesn’t need air. It’s everything.
Mizi sobs into her mouth, broken beyond repair. She can’t feel anything except her body breaking in two, rotting away. Sua holds her together with both hands, kisses her harder, fists her hair at the back of her head, as if making up for Mizi’s lack of passion.
Mizi’s hands weakly rest by her sides as her mouth is swallowed, again and again. The pain dulls into an ebb, her mouth bleeding a black, ashy substance— Sua doesn’t appear to mind it. “Sua… please…”

Summary
Tenna strode down the corridor like he owned it, and Spamton sauntered just behind him. Always on his right, a step behind— never equals, huh? Ain’t that accurate?
It was enough to put a bad taste in his mouth even without the added context. Spamton’s mouth twisted bitterly, more and more with every step, and by the time they reached Tenna’s door (with a big yellow star on it, no less!) he was already sick to the back teeth of the whole thing.
“After you!” Tenna held the door open for him— great, another subtle way to get one over on him. You’re too small and weak to open the door, obviously, so I’ll open it for you! Spamton’s used to these corporate mind games by now.
Good thing he knows exactly how to respond to them. “Ah, thanks so much, Ant!” Spamton smiled up at him with a genuine pleasant surprise, walking inside. Ha. The sucker won’t be expecting that, that’s for sure. Bullies always want a reaction.
“No problem!” Tenna appeared positively chuffed at his gratitude, beaming right back.
…This guy’s good.

“Actually, I think I’m the reverse of your situation.” Andrew slides his hand in his pocket, fiddling around for his cigarette box and drawing it out. “My parents split too, when I was five, except my Mom was the one who got saddled with me.” He pulls out his lighter, and notices her eyeing his cigarettes. “Want one?”
“It’s alright.”
“Split?”
“Nah.”
“Shotgun?”
Ashley stares at him for a second, eyes wide, before letting out a cackle. Andrew takes a drag of his cigarette, grinning at her, before blowing the warm smoke away. Yeah, he didn’t really think he’d get away with that one - he'd literally just met this girl ten minutes ago.
There’s a brief pause, the smoke lingering in the air. “I mean… if you’re offering.”
Andrew nearly chokes on his cigarette.

Summary
Praying she’s completely and utterly wrong, Mizi watches a realization dawn on Sua in real time.
“Mizi.” Sua says urgently, until she meets her eyes. “Mizi.”
Mizi drags her gaze up to meet hers, very reluctant. “Mizi, way to jump to conclusions. I’m not homophobic.”
Oh god, is she so easy to read? Mizi wilts like a flower, relieved beyond words, and can't help but laugh— sagging back against the wall. Sua’s face is so open and honest she doesn’t feel the need to question anymore, knowing it’s the truth. “You really scared me for a second there, Sua. Oh my god."

The girl straightened her weird black robes (matching villain costumes… a group’s debut? Bakugou mused over this) and headed out the door.
“But.. Harry has the first Triwizard tournament tomorrow, doesn’t he?” The boy with mousy brown hair said fearfully, and the redhead lifted his head from his hands with dawning horror.
He lowered his head back into his hands, groaning.

He notices, they all do, that Katara feeds Zuko less. A lot less. He notices that Zuko’s portions are often burnt and lacking any care, so even the little bit he does get is barely salvageable.
