Summary
Embittered and defiant, Megatron’s campaign to crush the corrupt Senate isolates him from his friends and his morals, his noble Ascenticon uprising descending into Decepticon violence, control wrested under the erratic leadership of his lover and second-in-command Starscream, apparently insane with grief and endlessly ambitious. The Functionists propose an even greater threat, condemning their ally Sentinel whose elevated social status hangs in the balance with those he loves impeding his success, yet he must succeed, he cannot afford failure, for he would lose everything he has worked for. Inexperienced Autobots unite under the shy and gentle Orion Pax, expecting to be heroes, yet their intervention prolongs the conflict and costs lives, ruining others. After millions of years of war, Megatron’s insane plot is discovered and drives a reconfigured Optimus Prime in a desperate bid to save his people, yet the Thirteenth Prime reincarnate condemns Cybertron to a slow demise. Politics and faith are put to the test as soldiers and civilians love and lose and loathe each other, all-knowing old mechs in positions of power deciding the war-torn future of their surviving heirs in prophecy, the Prime a mere puppet of fate.

Summary
From Cybertron to Earth to Unspace, the more personal tragedies simmer within a seemingly endless conflict, displacing some, destroying others. Politics and faith are put to the test as soldiers and civilians love and lose and loathe each other in accordance with the whims of all-knowing old mechs in positions of power who conveniently die after deciding the war-torn future of their surviving heirs in prophecy, all to ensure the emergence of a final Prime who carries in his Spark a most terrible burden, the pinnacle puppet of fate. When Primus, their god-maker, suffers a half-death with no easy remedy, he can only speak in whispers to the orphans left to their own devices within the shell of his nourishing carcass. Even then, they struggle and strive, as the end is theirs, free of divine meddling, though it may be too little too late to assure survival, or a future worth surviving to see.

One of the more refreshing and well-written takes on Bellamione fiction. Manages to be engaging and enjoyable throughout. Doesn't take forever to get to the gay stuff.

The war festers inside her body, inside her dreams. She reads and reads, about dreams and how to make them go away. All the books on the topic say things similar to Ginny's advice: you need to dare to explore the fear and the dream itself. Dare.
But Hermione fears that the war managed to suffocate any traces of bravery within her.

Summary
Amy Rose's biggest strengths are also reminders of her biggest mistake. As she's grown up the guilt has started weighing on her more and more and her friends have taken notice. Sally Acorn promotes Amy to royal guard both in an attempt to get Amy out of her funk and rekindle their friendship after having become distant.
