Jazz narrowed his eyes at the mech. Something about him was almost familiar. He stared hard at him, wracking his processor. His frame was way too fancy to be a common mech, maybe he was on Council? But he kept tabs on all the Councilors and didn’t recognize him. Maybe a Tower mech, or a- Wait. His optics widened with shock and he took a startled step back as realization hit him like blaster fire.

Summary
After capturing Megatron and returning to Cybertron, Optimus had settled down into a relatively quiet life. Sentinel has been running the planet into the ground in Ultra Magnus' absence, and his most recent ploy to regain favor in the public eye has the Council on edge. Meanwhile, an ancient evil reappears, threatening to consume everything in its path if not stopped. Optimus is charged with brokering peace with his mortal enemies, but that proves to be easier said than done.

Optimus Prime's droid mistakenly ends up on the Nemesis! He sure is lucky that Megatron is there to care for him. Unfortunately, now Megatron needs to deal with the constant reminder of the relationship he could've had with Optimus. He's convinced that what existed between them is unsalvageable, but Roller is determined to make things right!
