"It looks very…green," Bai Yutang says, eying the object in front of them.
It is, in fact, green; a deep, forest green, with cloudy pink patches here and there. It lies in a nondescript, plushly-lined box on Zhan Zhao's writing desk, around which the three of them are crowded—Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao on one side, and Huo Linglong on the other.
"I thought Zhan-dage would like it," Huo Linglong, the procurer of the item in question, says. "The other options were all…bronze, mostly."
Bai Yutang pulls a face. "No," he says. "Terrible."

Summary
The kneeling figure looks up at him. Zhan Zhao doesn't know if he can see his face in the dark, but Zhan Zhao can see his, and it makes his mind go empty, the ringing silence of the moment after a gong's reverberation ends. His mind trips, stumbles; his fingers, which had been holding his phone, ready to call an ambulance, go lax, and the phone tumbles to the ground. The kneeling figure is covered in blood, and looks dishevelled; his hair sticks to his forehead in the damp of the humid night. The top button of his shirt is undone, and his chest is rising and falling heavily. His eyes are wider than they should be, dilated and red-rimmed—as if there's something in his blood.
But he can't think of that; instead, all he can think, dumbly, is, Bai Yutang.

Summary
Zhan Zhao likes kissing Bai Yutang.
Bai Yutang is generous and warm with her affections; this is even more true for her kissing, which is both languid and searing—her mouth parted against Zhan Zhao's, her tongue pressing against Zhan Zhao's teeth, the ridge of her hard palate, her tongue. She's a quick study, too—learns how to coax embarrassing sounds out of Zhan Zhao with an alarming speed, and seems to relish in them. Even Zhan Zhao's tendency to bite hadn't scared her off.

Everything in Zhan Zhao's relationship with Bai Yutang is great—well, everything except one, massive problem that Zhan Zhao is trying very hard not to think about.

Summary
Someone is trying to break into her flat through the window in Q’s sitting room, and Q squints at the shadowy figure on her phone screen. There’s something familiar about that figure, the poise and grace with which the person moves, as is the angle at which Q is viewing the scene from – as if Q has witnessed this person doing something similar a dozen times before, over a surveillance camera.
Then the figure lifts her head and glances around the room, her gaze almost but not quite looking into the cameras as if she can guess where they are.
Q is out of her bedroom and down the corridor in a flash, and when she stumbles into her sitting room there Bond is.
"What the hell." It's not a question, but Q figures the way she's phrased it works well enough: What the hell are you doing, and what the hell are you doing here.
Bond flashes her a devil-may-care smile. "It's been awhile, Q."
(Canon fic, with the AU element that Bond and Q have always been ladies. In which a former Double-O agent and the current quartermaster learn to navigate the grey spaces of a relationship previously founded on professional grounds. Set after the events of Spectre; all Craig!Bond canon applies)
