    “Huh?!”

    everyone was staring at him.
    “Y-Yeah! I’m okay!” he answered quickly.
    “I was just thinking…
    he should’ve arrived by now.”
    His nervous expression didn’t go unnoticed.
    Suddenly, his phone buzzed again.
    “Hm?” Sakura asked
    “Who is it?”
    “It’s Nii-san!”
    Nirei immediately jumped out of his seat.
    “He’s at the entrance of Bofurin

    “Well then,” Suo said calmly while standing up,
    “shall we go meet this mysterious older brother of yours?”
    “You should bring him back here afterward,” Kotoha added with a smile.
    “It’s already nighttime. He probably hasn’t eaten yet.”

    The trio quickly headed outside.

    A black motorcycle stood near the roadside, its engine humming loudly in the night air.

    A dragon was painted along its side.
    Leaning against it was a tall figure with messy black hair falling around tired blue eyes.
    Bandages wrapped around his fists.
    His white shirt hung loosely from his shoulders, the top buttons left open carelessly

    The boy slowly lifted his gaze toward them.

    “Yo, idiot,”
    he said tiredly.
    “Long time no see.”

    It has now been one month since everyone’s favorite science teacher, Mr. Grace, disappeared abruptly, and there has still been no official word from the school administration on what happened.

    Seventh grader Jack S. says, “The first few days after Mr. Grace left, we all assumed he was just sick or something. But it’s been so long, and no one’s sick for that long. Even if he was, Mr. Grace would have said something.”

    As far as the Grenquirer is aware, this is the longest any GCMS teacher has been gone in recent memory without warning. When an English teacher (who we have been asked not to name) left abruptly last year, the rumor mill was pretty sure she was fired; but that happened immediately following winter break. By contrast, Mr. Grace left/quit/was fired abruptly on a Tuesday in the middle of the year.
