Summary
Boring. Everything was just so boring. Big stupid chunks of molecules and energy gallivanting around as always, debating morals, and resources, and free will. Like destroying so much will make any difference, like stopping the destruction would matter either. Planets grow and thrive, planets die. But the universe is eternal, whether these sentient chunks of molecules and energy are gallivanting around or not. Geez, with how stressed they are you’d think they didn’t even realize that there were other realities that this wouldn’t even touch.
But there's one intriguing little light right in front of us, one all of us has already touched in previous moments. Maybe something interesting could be found in him.

Summary
Sure, Lois may have been kidnapped a few (dozen) times in the last year, but she'd handling it. It isn't like she's having panic attacks, and if Clark says otherwise she'll push him out the window. Really, there was no need for Perry to ban her from reporting, or trick her into a vacation. Lois. Is. Fine.
After her boss takes extreme measures to force her into taking a break, Lois turns to her favorite coworker. She is going to turn that bumbling farm-boy into a Pulitzer winning reporter if it kills her. Despite the snickers of her coworkers, her determination has nothing to do with her drunken love confession at the last Christmas party. Or the way Clark always checks on her after a kidnapping. She definitely couldn't care less about spending 90% of her free time with him, but if he writes another editorial trashing Superman, she's going to hit him.
Featuring: Lois 'the Serial Killer Magnet' Lane, Clark 'Can We Please Have A Healthy Relationship' Kent, and the confused ogling of everyone unfortunate enough to watch these idiots

Summary
"We're going to be alcoholics by the time we're thirty," Sokka sighed.
"You think we'll live to be thirty?" Zuko asked, honestly thrilled. Sokka had pretty good instincts. Perhaps Zuko should reevaluate his long term goals. He could start by having long term goals.
A more likely alternative was that Sokka was just a hopeless optimist. It just went to show, you never truly saw another man until you stood shoulder to shoulder against a fleet of war balloons intent on raining death upon the city you loved.
Zuko was just a normal guy with normal interests. He liked theatre, burglary, crotchety ostrich horses, watching the Blind Bandit crush her opponents in a glorious display of skill and violence... just your standard banished prince things. It wasn't his fault he kept stumbling into rebellions and uncovering long-buried secrets. Fine, maybe freeing the prisoners was on him, but he was completely innocent of all other treason. Zuko was his father's loyal son. He'd never betray his nation.
Or:
Uncle Iroh took a more creative approach to fostering Zuko's appreciation of other cultures. Now it's everyone's Problem.- Language:

Summary
Aang is born female. It doesn't change all that much, until it does. What twelve-year-old girl wouldn't instantly develop a crush on the masked dual-sword-wielding bad boy who busted her out of Avatar jail?
Zuko's dignity suffers.
A story in which Aang accidentally humanizes herself to Zuko far earlier than her canon counterpart by the simple virtue of being a girl with an awkward crush. Well, Aang is the one with the crush. The awkward part is mostly Zuko.
