Summary
When Geonhak looks back up at him again, he’s changed. The man who kissed him like they’ve known one another for a thousand years has been replaced by a deadly, dazzling predator. His eyes have darkened, black tinged with crimson; his fangs seem impossibly sharper, his front teeth red with Seoho’s blood; and faster than Seoho can follow, Geonhak turns them over until Seoho is pinned to the mattress.

Before signing up at the Blood Connection, Seoho hadn’t thought too much about vampires — it’s no wonder that he doesn’t know what to expect from them, that every interaction with one feels brand new. He knows there aren’t too many in his small suburb, compared to the larger populations in the more densely packed cities. He learned the bare-bones biology he needed to pass his high school anatomy class, and he knows some of the urban legends that circulated before humans were made aware of their existence back in the 1970s. But he’d never met one before, and if he didn’t need to make a quick, easy paycheck, he figures he probably never would have.
Then he meets Kim Geonhak, and that changes everything.
