Slow and painful until she can feel the blood coursing through her, doing it's dance of circulation, Surge goes rigid and cold, and she knows that she will never see her smile again. That it's gone, it's all over.
Her sobbing stops, the universe had no intentions of listening to, nor answering them. It has no mercy for the unfortunate, it was never hard to see, Amy had simply chosen not to.

Turning her back to the stunned group, she murmurs a small, “No one refuses me."__

Octavius is a general. He became a general for the glory of Rome, unfortunately that is hard to do when his Rome is constrained to a magical diorama and its miniature inhabitants. And even harder when the irritating blonde cowboy next door hates him.
Both the senate and Jedediah's unionised workers agree that despite their differences it is in their best interest to join forces to unite the miniatures hall, leaving their leaders to have to bottle their mutual hatred for the good of their people.
