Chris Redfield returns from Europe in late September; earlier than expected, and he is no less angry and hurt from the bitter, death-defying events that occurred in the Spencer Mansion back in July. S.T.A.R.S. was dispersed subsequently after and Claire, whom he stays with to remain incognito, sees how her brother is so… untethered. When she learns from Chris about Umbrella Corporation true nature, Claire is determined to help her brother find justice for his S.T.A.R.S. team and all the victims. Summary
When someone dies they leave behind a shadow of themselves, an impression that wanders the area until their business is completed and they dissipate into the ether. Everyone knows about unnamed shadows, they are a fact of everyday life. Most people avoid them and go about their business. Possessions are whispered about and a thing to be feared, unless your name is Will Graham.
From a young age Will has been able to connect with the shades in a way others can't. Now as an adult he uses that ability to help solve murders. The Lonely hearts killer has struck again and everyone is scrambling to find him. But is this something more than your usual serial killing? Will has an inkling that there might be something occult to these murders.
Will has enough on his plate with consulting with the FBI and trying to keep the way he connects with unnamed shadows a secret, but unfortunately for him, Hannibal smells blood in the water and knows he is hiding something.

Feng Xin would like to think that he has become accustomed to the variety of strange (and often unfortunate) events that surround Xie Lian. He has become accustomed to the flights of fancy, and the trash collecting, and the occasional ill-fated culinary quest. He has even, as of late, become accustomed to His Highness’ cripplingly poor choice in spouse.
Despite all of Feng Xin’s practice in these unfortunates, however, he is not prepared for this.
“Who are you?” Xie Lian stares up at him from a puddle of oversized white robes, his eyes wide. He is several sizes too small, and several shades too oblivious. “And, um. Where are we?”
Beside him, Mu Qing sighs very very very deeply and pinches the bridge of his nose.
When a curse turns Xie Lian into a child again, Feng Xin, Mu Qing, and Hua Cheng have to work together to keep him safe. Needless to say, this is a trying task for all of them.
