Summary
Episode reworking of 'The Darkest Hour.' It took a blood sacrifice to tear the veil between the worlds; it will take a blood sacrifice to mend it. Arthur knew his duty to his people, and he'd been grimly ready to do what needed to be done. But if there is even the barest possibility of a way out... is it really so very selfish of him to consider another option when one is offered? Does Camelot need a living king or a dead hero? Summary
Working in a chain cafe is no way to spend eternity, but Merlin's too tired to even think about trying for something better. He's been killing time for years now-- only fair, really; time's killing him. Or, rather, it isn't, and that's worse. Striking up a conversation with the frantic student who's been camping in the far corner for most of the day is just one more way of making the time pass. Merlin wasn't expecting an impromptu seminar on medieval literature. He wasn't expecting his life to change for the better, either.
Sometimes studying poetry really is the right way to handle an emergency. Who knew?

Summary
Episode tag to 'With All My Heart.' Merlin, Mordred, Arthur and Gwen have all returned safely from the Cauldron, but Merlin has a few things to get off his chest. After all, it's not like he can tell Arthur what he thinks of being forgotten and abandoned, can he?

Gaius immediately assumed the worst, but it was an easy mistake to make. The grim expression on Merlin’s face as he stalked into the infirmary did not particularly shout ‘success.’ Neither did the way he flung his pack and jacket in the general direction of his bed without bothering to actually enter his bedroom, then spun on his heel and went straight to the storage shelves, glowering at the jars and bottles as if daring one or more of them to make a hostile move. They didn’t, and he cursed, not quite under his breath. The old man flinched. “Merlin…” he started. “What happened?”
“Oh, you know,” said Merlin over his shoulder, with a sarcastic flip of a hand. “Same old, same old. Woke up, had breakfast, summoned a goddess; nothing worth mentioning.”

Summary
Emrys and the Once and Future King have been prophesized to become partners in bringing Albion to fruition for hundreds of years. For that to happen, Arthur will have to finally discover and accept Merlin’s magic. But how does a Prince, who has been raised to believe that all magic is evil, overcome his own prejudices to accept a sorcerer as a full partner? That isn’t a moment, it’s a journey.
Non-slash, this story attempts to follow the flavor and tone of series 1-3 faithfully and begins at the end of series 3.
